Belmont was Young, Foolish and Happy Last Night

Seems like each Friday Night Live the crowd just keeps getting larger and larger and last night was no exception as the The Tams rolled into Downtown Belmont even with the bad weather looming in background.

It was an exciting performance and an honor to see the last Tam standing perform to the crowd in front of the stage even though the show was probably cut short because of the lightning and ominous clouds.

For more information on The Tams you can visit their website at http://www.thetams.com

I did not forget my camera this time so Keep Reading more to see some of the pictures from last night’s event

The Grass Cats Tonight In The Park

Time to get your Bluegrass On. Starting around 7:00pm tonight The Grass Cats will be performing in Stowe Park.

After performing primarily in North Carolina for the past 10 yearsand releasing six very successful CD’s, The Grass Cats are ready to keep bringing their lively foot-stomping fiddle and banjo music, bluegrass classics, tight vocal harmonies and “a capella” style gospel quartets to Stowe Park. Mix in their “top of the chart” original music and down home humor and we’ll have a performance we will not soon forget.

Check them out at http://www.grasscats.com

Jim Quick and the Coastline Band

What a Friday Night Live to forget my camera. The Jim Quick and the Coastline Band performed Friday,  June 13th to one of the biggest crowds I’ve seen in Downtown Belmont. The Beer garden was in full swing and a little bigger this time and was packed the whole night.  Belmont was literally dancing in the streets.

If anyone has any pictures and would like to share them please email them to webmaster@belmontrocks.com and we’ll get them up on the website.

If you missed last night then please go checkout the bands website at http://www.coastlineband.com or their myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/jimquickandcoastline
