Coming Up Brass - Last Friday Night Live Concert
August 22nd, 2008 will be the last Friday Night Live event of the 2008 Summer series and the Belmont Downtown Merchants Association has a great band to end out the event. Creative Loafing Readers Pick voted Coming Up Brass as the “Best Local Band for Dancing” which should make for yet another GREAT Friday Night in Belmont so get your dancing shoes ready. Coming Up Brass, or The CUB Band, is a 10 piece (yes 10!) group of musicians who play for the love of the music. When it comes to music, trust us, size does matter … they have a very BIG sound!

Friday Night Live - Band Of Oz
Band Of Oz will be preforming for this Friday Night Live event as the summer starts to wind down. The Band of Oz is one of the most successful groups in the Southeast, and continues to get the very best reviews from the top people in the entertainment business. The band now features a full horn section to total a dynamic eight-member group.

Piccolo Antique Mall “Yard Sale”
Saturday, May 24th starting at 8:00am Piccolo Antique Mall in Downtown Belmont will be have a Yard Sale where their antique dealers will be setting up outside in the parking lot.
This is a great opportunity for all you treasure hunters out there to find some great deals and then explore more of Downtown Belmont including 2 other antique malls. Then when it’s lunchtime there are several restaurants all within walking distance. For desert you can stop by Cherub’s or The Shack in Stowe Park to get an Ice Cream Fix.

Garibaldi Fest Kicks Off At 11:00am
After kicking off a series of events in Downtown Belmont with a rousing concert in the street last night by General Johnson and the Chairmen of the Board. The festivities continue today starting at 11:00am as the Garibaldi Festival begins with day long activities, music and food.

General Johnson & The Chairmen Of The Board LIVE TONIGHT
