Fire Creek
Jeff Harkins and Dub Byrum formed FIRE CREEK in 2000. The band’s name FIRE CREEK comes from the story Jeff tells about the day the Sheriff found his Granddaddy’s still. While standing along the creek the Sheriff threw a match in and the creek caught on fire. Folks in the area started calling it “Fire Creek” and that’s what it’s called to this day.
Today FIRE CREEK plays Bluegrass standards and original tunes for your listening pleasure in Charlotte, North Carolina and parts beyond.
